Rev. Guyton has a passion for the youth and her life purpose is to guide them to discover and understand their purpose and to expose them to the leadership qualities that they possess. She has spent her life working with youth in some capacity or another. For the last five years, she has worked as a long-term substitute teacher for the Dekalb county school system where she has had the opportunity to mentor youth from K-12th grade and beyond. She has built long-term mentorships with these youth and continues to be a part of their lives even as young adults. She has a deep abiding, natural love for God’s people, and a strong sense of faith and commitment to the community and the welfare of the youth in today’s world.

Rev. Guyton began her post-high school education at Tennessee State University and is proud to have been a graduate of an HBCU. She matriculated to Grand Canyon University, where she earned a Masters of Arts in Christian Education with an emphasis in Youth ministry in 2012. Rev. Guyton then went on to graduate from Mercer University on May 12, 2018, where she received a dual degree, Masters in Divinity from McAfee school of theology in Atlanta, and a Masters in Organization Leadership with an emphasis in non-profits from Penfield College.  A life-long learner, she continues to study her craft in both ministry and non-profit management.

As is the case with most, her greatest source of pain became her passion and her passion has become her purpose.  In 2007 her only son got caught up in the unforgiving criminal justice system.  She was motivated to create the non-profit organization, C Life’s Fulfillment, Inc. with the focus set on prevention as well as redemption. As the Executive Director, she is driven to impact change in the system and believes that everyone deserves a second chance. She is focused on holistically ministering to our youth with the goal being that they will avoid the pitfalls of incarceration.

Rev. Guyton (Ja’ton) Daniels has been married to her soulmate Derrick Daniels for 32 years.  They have four children and seven grandchildren. Rev. Guyton has a diverse background in both the private and public sectors in various levels of leadership.
